SD90MAC locomotives represent
Electo-Motive's latest technology on the rails. They feature the
RADIALAC traction system, WhisperCab,
Integrated Cab Electronics, Microprocessor Air Brake, 4,300 or 6,000 horsepower
diesels, and electronic fuel controls.
As Tim-the-Toolman-Taylor would say: "80 feet of 6,000 raw
horsepower producing 200,000 pounds of Tractive Effort through 38 percent
dispatchable adhesion... Argh... Argh... Argh !"
