Resurection Curve - Wapta Lake
With the sun slowly setting behind it, Train No. 2, "The
Canadian", continues it's eastward climb past Wapta Lake. The summit of Kicking
Horse Pass at 5,332 feet won't be reached until Stephan, about four miles
ahead. Divide, Lake Louise, Morant's Curve, Massive, Banff, Canmore, Exshaw, Cochrane,
and finally Calgary lie beyond, but let's save that for another days
railfanning.
