1. This locomotive may be similar to the sunken locomotive. Canadian Pacific Railway 4-6-0 Ten-Wheeler class D10h number 999 was built new in May 1912 by the Montreal Locomotive Works as a D10g with builders number 50973 and assigned the CPR number 2774. In March of 1913 it was re-classified as a D10h and re-numbered 999. Notice the wood pilot and the lack of power reversing gear. In May 1937 the engine was transferred to the Dominion Atlantic Railway in Nova Scotia where it was named "Fronsac". A photo taken at Kentville, Nova Scotia, in early 1937 shows the locomotive with a steel pilot, therefore the top photo must have been taken sometime between March 1913 and May 1937 - Anonymous Photographer.
