CPR Employee Fatality

It is with deep regret that I inform you of the death of Gary Kinakin. Mr. Kinakin, age 37, was a snow fighter operator in Engineering Services at Revelstoke, British Columbia. He was fatally injured Wednesday morning, 22 Dec 2004, when struck by a train operating on the north track after he exited his equipment which he was operating on the south track on the Mountain subdivision.
 
Mr. Kinakin joined CPR on 27 May 1992, and resided in Surrey, B.C. He is survived by his wife Kimberley and 2 children.

Details of this tragic accident will be shared at a later date as the investigation progresses.
