CP Crew Escapes Injury in Derailment

Sicamous - A train crew escaped without injury when their train derailed just after midnight Monday on the CP Rail mainline east of Sicamous. Five cars flipped over, spilling their load of coal. CP Rail says there was no damage to the environment. The line is expected to be re-opened late Monday night. The cause of the derailment is under investigation.
