CPR to Address Deutsche
Bank 15th Annual Global Transportation Conference and CIBC World Markets 2005

Rob Ritchie, President and
Chief Executive Officer of Canadian Pacific Railway (TSX/NYSE: CP), will address the Deutsche Bank
15th Annual Global Transportation Conference on 17 Feb 2005. His presentation is
scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. Eastern time at The Ritz-Carlton in Naples, Florida.
Mike Waites, Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of CPR, and Chief
Executive Officer of CPR's U.S. Network, will address the CIBC World Markets 8th Annual Whistler
Institutional Investor Conference, which will also be held on 17 Feb 2005. His
presentation is scheduled to begin at 2:40 p.m. Pacific time (5:40 p.m. Eastern time) at The Westin
Resort in Whistler, British Columbia.
Mr. Ritchie and Mr. Waites will present CPR's performance, strategy and outlook. There will be a live
