CPR Derailment CN Ashcroft Sub


 
On Friday, 23 Sep 2005, CP coal train 803-200 derailed at approximately 19:10 hrs PDT on the CPRS main line. (Editor's note:  Derailment ocurred on CN Ashcroft Sub) The incident, which occurred near Lytton BC, affected westbound CN/CPRS co-production traffic moving between Edmonton and Vancouver.
 
The site was cleared by 19:15 hrs PDT on Saturday, 24 Sep 2005. Customers should expect some delays while the area returns to normal operations.
