Slow Down and Lay Off Train Whistles

Maple Ridge - I would like to make a comment on train whistles blasting through here day and night.

This will not prevent derailments or accidents in maple Ridge or anywhere else. These trains are going 60 to 70 miles an hour, with fully loaded cargo in 50 or 60 cars or more. At that speed and weight, a locomotive would wipe out the Billy Minor Pub, and whatever else is in its path.

I would suggest slow down to half speed and no more blasting whistles - Lawson Martin Maple Ridge.
