19 December 2005 CP Biz Cars Eastbound CP wasted no time in returning the passenger cars from the Holiday Train to Calgary.   After laying over in the VIF yard at Pitt Meadows, generator car CP 96, coach 102 Ernest "Smoky" Smith, stateroom car 79 N.R. Crump, business car 71 Killarney, and business car 79 Van Horne were tacked on behind tail-end slave CP 8508 in a double-stack train that left VIF about 15:00 on Sunday, 18 Dec 2005. Lead unit was CP 9638.
