29 January 2006 CNR and CPR Link Up to Aid Vancouver Port Vancouver - Canada's two major railways have struck a deal to improve freight service at the Port of Vancouver in a move to deal with soaring trade flows to Asia.   Canadian National Railway Co. and Canadian Pacific Railway reached a deal to improve rail operations in B.C.'s Lower Mainland to boost service for shippers at Pacific Gateway ports and terminals. Improvements are expected to begin in March.   See the route map here.
