CP Olympic Units in Training
Matsqui British Columbia - Canadian Pacific Railway's two
Gevo units wearing Vancouver's 2010 Winter Olympics logos to promote the event made an appearance out west today.
After several weeks in Calgary they now sport partial markings to promote the 2010 Olympics.
I'm not sure why it took two weeks or so to slap a little white paint and a few decals on. I think we all hope this isn't the final
product. Maybe CP needed them to earn some revenue before the final markings are applied.
The inset photo shows a close-up of the incomplete 2010 logo on number 8859. Of particular note, is the partial light blue
design on the door post (part with door hinges attached).
