CAW and Canadian Pacific Reach Tentative Contract Agreement for Mechanical Services Employees

The Canadian Auto Workers union (CAW), representing mechanical services employees, and Canadian Pacific, today reached a tentative three year contract settlement.

"This agreement comes after months of work between the parties", said Rick Wilson, CP Assistant Vice President, Labour Relations. "It effectively addresses the company's productivity and fluidity goals".

The Memorandum of Settlement will be sent to the union membership for ratification.

Details of the tentative agreement will be released following ratification of the agreement by union members.
