Royal Hudson Puffing Along This Weekend


WCRA Steam Special led by 2860 crosses the Serpentine River near Cloverdale - 2 May 2009 Ken Storey.
 
 
New Westminster British Columbia - Attention B.C. history buffs... the world famous Royal Hudson steam locomotive will make its first public excursion from New Westminster Quay to Cloverdale and return on Saturday and Sunday, 2 May 2009 and 3 May 2009.
 
The trip is to mark New Westminster's 150th birthday and the 100th anniversary of Interurban rail service in the area.
 
The Royal Hudson is set to depart New West at 10 a.m. and arrive in Cloverdale about 11:30 a.m.
 
It will make a return trip later in the afternoon with a stop at Sullivan Station, site of the Fraser Valley Heritage Railway Society.
