11 August 2009 CP Rail Crossing Closing for Maintenance Portage la Prairie Manitoba - Canadian Pacific Railway crews will be working on the rail line on 18th St NW in Portage throughout the day tomorrow.   Director of Operations Kelly Braden says the City was informed yesterday morning about the closure, and it should only be in effect until around 2 p.m.   He adds, closures slated for the 3rd St NE crossing in town will begin next week.
