Rigaud Quebec - Yesterday as I endeavored to record the last AMT commuter move to the end of Canadian Pacific's M&O Subdivision at Rigaud.

The conditions were challenging with heavy mid-day rain persisting in and around the Quebec-Ontario border region between Glen Robertson and Vaudreuil until the supper hour.

Attached are two images of Train 111's arrival at Rigaud.

This ends a rich 120 year history of railroading to, and later through, the community of Rigaud.

My pessimism suggests that it won't be too long before this location becomes the end of track on what (by then) will probably be called the M&O spur.

I hope that I'm proven wrong!

Raymond Farand.
