Witness Revelstoke in a Different Time

Revelstoke British Columbia - The Revelstoke Museum and Archives will be screening the film "Silent Barriers" in the museum's heritage garden Saturday evening.
 
The 1937 movie about the construction of the Canadian Pacific Railway was filmed partly in Revelstoke in 1936, 75 years ago.
 
Scenes were shot in Lake Louise, Revelstoke, and Three Valley Gap stood in for the fictional town of Moodyville. The movie stars Richard Arlen and Lilli Palmer.
 
Doors open at 8 p.m. at the Revelstoke Museum & Archives. The cost is $10, which includes popcorn, a drink, and a cookie.
