Charge Laid Over Railway Equipment Theft

Peterborough Ontario - A Harvey Township man has been charged in connection to the theft of railway equipment from the Canadian Pacific Railway yard on Harper Road.
 
On 31 Mar 2012 joint bars, tie plates, and other equipment valued at about $3,182 were taken from the area.
 
City police said the man was arrested in the parking lot of a Lansdowne St. E. grocery store Thursday.
 
David Lee Moro, 40, is charged with possession of property obtained by crime and breach of probation.
 
He is to appear in court Friday.
