Tariff 5 - Unit Train Services

Tariff 5 outlines the additional fees for unit train services not included in your quote as defined in CP's Guide to Products and Services. The specific changes to the Tariff are listed below:

·  Minimum Unit Train Size (Item 2) - Increased minimum unit train size from 50 to 80 cars.

·  Nominations (Item 3) - Customers will be required to submit their unit train requirements monthly to ensure resources and plans are in place to effectively move unit trains.

·  Asset Use (Item 5) - When unit train loading or unloading exceeds the free time, $500 per hour charges for locomotive and crew asset use applies. An additional $300 per hour applies for railroad cars held with or without power.

·  Power Removal (Item 6) - When CP is required to remove dedicated power from a train due to delayed loading, a charge of $5,500 will apply.

·  Additional Train Crews (Item 7) - If additional train crews are required to operate a unit train while unloading or loading, beyond the one crew included in the quote, customers will be assessed a charge of $2,500 for each additional crew.

·  Holding a Unit Train (Item 8) - The rate for holding a unit train for reasons other than loading or unloading has been set at $600 per hour or $125 per car per day, removing previous geographical differences.

·  Buffer Cars (Items 15 - 18) - Please note the addition of Items 15 to 18 to this tariff to clarify existing policy for unit trains requiring buffer cars.
