Canadian Rail Traffic

Ottawa Ontario - Canadian railroads reported 81,679 carloads for the week, up 1.4 percent compared with the same week last year.
 
54,847 trailers and containers are up 6.2 percent compared with 2011.
 
For the first 43 weeks of 2012, Canadian railroads reported cumulative volume of 3,321,340 carloads, up 2.3 percent from the same point last year.
 
2,225,962 trailers and containers are up 7.1 percent from last year.
