Regina Police Investigating Suspicious Death After Body Found in Rail Yard

Regina Saskatchewan - Police are investigating a suspicious death after the body of an adult male was discovered near the railway tracks in the 2200 block of Dewdney Avenue on Sunday.
 
According to police, at 1:15 p.m. a CP Rail worker notified the police about a body located in the CP Rail yard.
 
Officers arrived on the scene, secured the area, and requested additional resources including Forensic Identification, Major Crimes, and the coroner.
 
The police in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner are investigating the incident.
 
The deceased male has been identified, but his name is not being released at this time.
 
Police are in the process of notifying the man's next of kin.
 
Police are treating the incident as a suspicious death until more is known.
 
The police are holding the scene at the rail yard pending further investigation.
