Changes Coming for CP Railway

Calgary Alberta - The new leadership team at Canadian Pacific Railway Ltd. has wrapped up its first comprehensive review of the railroad's Eastern operations since the appointment of Keith Creel as president and head of operations in February.

The so-called "white board" exercise was the first of five sessions led by Creel and CP's chief executive, Hunter Harrison, scheduled to be completed over the next two months.

It allowed the duo to scrutinize for the first time every element of the company's operations.

The session will be followed by another in Calgary in two weeks to address the Vancouver-Calgary corridor.

In all, there will be five aimed at addressing various parts of CP's network.
