Man Killed in Railway Yard Accident
in Southeast Calgary

Calgary Alberta - A man was crushed to death by a train car in the Ogden rail yard early Monday morning, emergency officials say.
 
The incident happened around 7 a.m. MT at the Arrow Reload Systems Inc. yard at 6380 Ogden Dale Road in southeast Calgary.
 
Calgary police are investigating with assistance from the Canadian Pacific Police Service.
 
The man, believed to be in his 50s, was an employee of a third-party company that works with Canadian Pacific.
 
Police say they will not be commenting further on the matter, as it's a workplace incident, and all calls to CP, Arrow Reload Systems, and Occupational Health and Safety have not been returned to CBC News.
