CPR Working on Tunnel Island

Kenora Ontario - Work continues on the train tracks at Tunnel Island this week.
 
Canadian Pacific Railway crews are working on the bridge over the channel connecting Kenora Bay and Rideout Bay.
 
According to Kevin Hrysak of Canadian Pacific Railway, they're doing scheduled maintenance on the area leading to the south bridge, replacing the ballast and drainage materials in those areas.
 
The work is expected to continue through the week, with train operation on the opposite track to accommodate the workers.
 
This marks the second time this summer that they've been working on the bridge.
 
During the last period of work, some pathways had been closed on the trails.
