Woman Injured in Saltcoats
Car-Train Accident

Saltcoats Saskatchewan - A woman was taken to hospital after her car crashed into a train Monday morning at Saltcoats.
 
It happened in the town, located about 30 kilometres southeast of Yorkton, at around 9:15 a.m. CST, the RCMP said.
 
The driver was the only occupant in the vehicle.
 
She had been heading south through an intersection when she collided with the Canadian Pacific Railway train.
 
She was treated for minor injuries.
 
No rail cars derailed and none of the train crew was injured.
 
Police said they are investigating and may lay charges under the Traffic Safety Act.
