Recent City Fires Declared Arson

Wetaskiwin Alberta - The city's emergency services have had a busy May, thanks in part to a string of arson incidents.
 
Between 11-13 May 2014, Wetaskiwin Fire Services and Wetaskiwin RCMP were dispatched to four separate fires throughout the city.
 
Around 11:30 p.m., 11 May 2014, police and fire responded to the 5700 block of 47 Street after receiving a report of a large fire along the railway tracks.
 
The fire resulted in approximately $250,000 in damage to the railway tracks.
 
The Canadian Pacific Police Service are assisting with this investigation.
