Seven Persons Alberta - A train derailment is under investigation after an engine and nine cars loaded with coal derailed in southern Alberta this weekend, causing extensive damage to the tracks.
 
RCMP and members of the Cypress County Fire Department responded to the scene near the railway overpass on Highway 3, just west of Seven Persons, around 16:00 on Saturday.
 
No one was injured.
 
The scene was handed over to Canadian Pacific Police for further investigation.
