Toronto Ontario - An Essa Township man remains in hospital with critical injuries after his motorcycle collided with a train on Thursday night.
 
The 23-year-old rider was travelling in the area of Snow Valley Road and Wilson Road in Springwater Township at around 19:20 when the crash happened.
 
Huronia West OPP says the rider failed to stop for a passing Canadian Pacific Railway train.
 
The man was transported to Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, where he was airlifted to Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto with critical injuries.
 
Snow Valley Road was closed for several hours, but has since reopened.
