Train Traffic Back to Normal
After Grain Car Derails

Edison Lake Ontario - Canadian Pacific (CP) says rail traffic is back to normal.

A grain car left the tracks Friday evening west of Vermilion Bay.

Repairs at Edison Lake were made and trains were running again the next morning.

No injuries were reported, and there was no risk to public safety.

The railway had some trouble with flooding in the same area earlier this year.

A database set up by the Transportation Safety Board (TSB) shows 58 reportable incidents within the Ignace subdivision since January of 2004.

They included 30 reports of derailments, 10 accidents involving crossings, and six that involved fires.
