Rail Car Preservation Project


Revelstoke British Columbia - The Revelstoke Railway Museum is seeking a skilled project manager to carry out exterior rail car preservation work on the museum site.
 
This position is grant funded and is a short term contract for summer 2017 with flexible hours and minimal supervision.
 
Successful completion of one targeted rail car will determine future plans for additional equipment restoration.
 
Should have previous experience in, or knowledge of, restoration of railway equipment or similar car body work.
 
Work will involve power washing, sanding, welding, wood frame, window repair, priming, and painting.
 
Must be comfortable working with others and be willing to supervise volunteers as needed.
 
Standard safety protocol and professionalism will be expected.
