Stalled Train Slows Traffic
Near Chinook LRT Station

Calgary Alberta - Commuters in the southeast are being told to avoid the intersection of 61 Avenue Southeast and Centre Street due to a stalled train on the tracks.

Calgary Police say a Canadian Pacific Railway train is blocking westbound traffic on 61 Avenue near the Chinook LRT station.

Police say travel in the area is expected to be slowed for some time and suggest finding an alternate route.

Calgary Transit said the stalled train is not impacting the C-Train line.
