Location - CP crews are cleaning up a stretch of track following a nine-car derailment west of Kamloops on Monday.
 
A company spokesman said the incident took place at about noon when an eastbound mixed freight train derailed.
 
No leaks, injuries, or public-safety issues were reported and the derailed cars remained upright.
 
Crews were working to restore the track as of 18:00.
 
The cause of the derailment remains under investigation.
