Calgary Alberta - Here is what the designer wanted... but it turned out differently due to reality.
 
Its funny though that no one mentioned that Santa usually has 8 reindeer pulling his sleigh.
 
He was supposed to, but what looks good on a drawing board does not always translate to actual fact.
 
When we starting putting the reindeer onto the boxcars, we found we did not have enough room for 4 deer plus Santa.
 
So one got put on vacation.
 
The next year for the American Holiday Train we managed to correct the layout, but I do not have a photo or diagram of that, unfortunately.
 
I worked on the Holiday Trains from 2004 to 2018 but as the years wore on, I kept less and less material of the "Build".
 
Another gentleman in Calgary has mostly taken over and does a FANTASTIC job.
 
I helped to do the finishing repairs in Montreal with him.
