Station named Ducks at mile 111.3 is eliminated effective 6 February 2003.
 
Mainline track between Vancouver and Calgary is all CTC. Consequently trains do not run to a published schedule with the exception of the Great Canadian Railtour Company passenger trains.
 
There is a two track grade separation between Shuswap and Notch Hill.
 
Joint trackage with Kelowna Pacific between Campbell Creek and Kamloops East.
 
The Revelstoke switching zone extends from Revelstoke to mile 1.9
 
The Kamloops switching zone extends from Kamloops to mile 121.5
 
The Canadian Pacific Railway's last spike was driven at 09:22 7th November 1885 in Craigellachie (cray-GAL-a-key), British Columbia.
