2 of 5 - Multiple trails begin here leading up the mountain. You should be on the lookout for mountain bikers as they ride down the hilly trails at a good speed.

3 of 5 - A "respect the rules" sign is posted at the start along with a map depicting trails you will find on the mountain.

4 of 5 - A fork in the trail to the right takes one to a fast running creek. This being February the leaves are not out yet but moss can hang heavily on old trees all year long.

5 of 5 - The creek is full now but by summer time it will completely dry up. It's hard to believe at this time of year there can be drought conditions here on the Island during summer, but it's true. Some residents who depend on well water must purchase water during the dry season.
