This is Grosmont station on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. Network Rail's mainline station lies behind this building across a parking lot within easy walking distance. Once NYMR trains have cleared this street crossing the wooden barrier gates are returned to block the railway route permitting highway road vehicles to pass as you see here.
