After passing beneath the High Bridge the train loops back in the opposite direction towards the bridge in a climbing right turn. Immediately before crossing the High Bridge there lies a spur to the old Powder House with a D&RGW boxcar sitting on the siding. Horse drawn wagons were used to transfer the explosives between here and the Powder House a little farther up the hill behind the trees.
