TOP - Tracks of the Virginia & Truckee in Virginia City on on F Street. The low building to the right is the first passenger depot. It was replaced by a second depot beyond the Tunnel No. 6 which can be seen just to the left of the depot. A harp switch stand and stub switch are in the foreground. St. Mary's Church is in the background on the right - 1938 Bob Searle.
 
CENTER - This is the first V&T Virginia City depot. St. Mary's church lies directly behind it while the entrance to Tunnel No. 6 is on the left with St. Paul's Episcopal church to the right.- Date? Photographer?
 
BOTTOM - A closer look at Tunnel No. 6 which traveled underneath E Street for a couple of blocks between Washington and Taylor Streets. It went under the ridge separating this first passenger depot lying south of St. Mary's Church and the new passenger depot to the north. The church's steeple is located behind the depot to the right right - 1938 Bob Searle.
