After building enough steam pressure Furkahorn moves onto the turntable at Realp. This is a manually powered table. Men push on the large white handles with the red bands to rotate the table. On the table, between the rails at each end of the track, is a bolt which slides into a latch to lock the table in position thereby aligning the track. The two thin white handles sticking up next to the table's track work the mechanism which slides the bolt into position locking, or unlocking the table's position.
