As was mentioned earlier in these captions there was a red coloured object visible at the DFB Oberwald platform. Here it is, an HGm 4/4. This diesel-electric is one of two built in 1967 for the Furka Oberalp Bahn (FO) which subsequently became the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn (MGB). The HGm 4/4 is stationed here as back up power for the DFB should a steam engine fail.
