In this photo the camera is pointing towards the Belvedere Hotel near the top of the mountain. The Rhone glacier, which was much larger then, is to the left. To the lower right side roughly laid track lies on a ledge climbing out of Gletsch towards Muttbach - Circa 1911 Photographer unknown.
