In this photo the camera is pointing east and looking at the Furkastrasse, (Furka road) that's the road with the small grey car on it. The Furkastrasse loops back over the train in the distance then disappears around a rock cropping on its way to Gletsch. The switchback road above the train climbing up the mountain leads to Grimselpass. The DFB train is coasting downgrade towards the helical tunnel portal about a train's length ahead of it. Then it will circle back to pop out of the lower helical portal seen at the lower right below the Furkastrasse.
