Car number 4, one of the older Vitznau Rigi Bahn cars, rests on Gleis Einz (track 1) beside the Vitznau station platform. This type of car is classed Bhe 2/4 and was built in 1937. The car body contains a large second class passenger compartment, hence the letter B in its designation, plus two vestibules including eight folding seats, the cab, and a boarding platform. The two entrance doors always face the Lake Lucerne side of the railine. The car was refurbished in 1987.
