The Nene Valley Railway station at Peterborough is the eastern terminus for the railway. The station sells tickets and snacks. A steel water tank moved from Barking in East London lies at the easternmost end of the run-around track to supply the steam locomotives. The Peterborough signal box, which came from Welland Bridge in Spalding, contains the lever frame from Grassmore Junction. All thess lie on the site of the former London & North Western Railway Woodston Locomotive Shed grounds. A walking trail with pedestrian bridge over the River Nene leads to the city center.
