Railway Wedding

It took them 3 years to find the perfect railway wedding venue, but find they did in Nene Valley Railway (NVR) pictured above. Railway and train lover couple, Paul Taylor (41), and Geraldine Harris (51), exchanged "I do's" at NVR's waiting room in front of 30 high spirited guests.

Geraldine said:  "Paul's a trainspotter. He loves trains and can tell you anything about them. I like painting steam trains, so this was the perfect wedding. We wanted to make the most of our big day and wanted to make sure it was was something everyone would remember. Nene Valley's such a beautiful place. We have been on trains there before, and it has been a wonderful experience."

After the service, it was all aboard the Peterborough Express, where red and ivory roses were dotted around the carriage.

As the steam train made a gentle journey into the city and back, guests tucked into a hearty three-course meal.

The wedding reception with 40 evening guests was held at the couple's new home in Newark, Nottinghamshire.

Awww, isn't that sweet?

It is good to incorporate something you both love in your wedding just like what Paul and Geraldine did.

It makes the whole thing much more special and sentimental.
