Over by Boston Lodge, double Fairlie Merddin Emrys steams past headed for a crossing of the Cob and arrival at Porthmadog Harbour Station with a rake of typical carriages. The car immediately behind Merddin Emrys is first class Observation Car number 100 which is similar to number 102, but without a guards compartment. It is fitted with moveable seats and tables in the observation end which can be removed to accommodate wheelchairs.
