Merddin Emrys works up the line towards the terminus at Blaenau Ffestiniog past this unnamed road crossing near Minffordd. The crossing leads to the Ffestiniog Hostel where volunteers are accommodated during their visits. The hostel is split into 5 modules and in total will sleep some 42 volunteers. Rates vary on whether they are an FR Society member, or non-member, and/or on a working visit. A small space available for recreational vehicle parking is visible across the track in the photo.
