Tan-y-Bwlch (pronounced tan-a-bulk) lies on the railway approximately halfway between Porthmadog and Blaenau Ffestiniog. Double Fairlie Earl of Marioneth is pumping out steam beneath the pedestrian overbridge as she pulls away from the platform. The single island platform located behind the cloud of steam is bracketed by a track on each side with people access provided by this overbridge and another further back.
