The footbridge of the last photo is obscured by the locomotive's steam. Tanygrisiau station lies just beyond that. In the distance behind the train you can see how treeless and rugged the mountains have become as the railway comes closer to its terminus in Blaenau Ffestiniog. The top of the Tanygrisiau power station is barely visible above the fir trees on the left.
