Prince is seen here pulling a load of slate waggons beside Glanypwll Road heading for the station at Blaenau. Once again the narrowness of the right-of-way is apparent as it is hemmed in by rock walls here. An engine shed, complete with turntable, was once sited at Glanypwll. England built engines such as Prince were turned for the down journey there. Now there is a small yard at Glanypwll with a carriage shed constructed in 1997 for winter and overnight storage.
