Northbound Garratt number 138 exits the long tunnel located north of Nantmor in the Aberglaslyn Pass. There is a parking lot at Nantmor, £4 minimum charge ($6.22 Canadian), with a rough hiking trail leading through the canyon to Beddgelert. Bring hiking boots! The rocks have sharp edges. At one point the trail clings to a vertical rock face with the river below but steel handles have conveniently been driven into the vertical rock for hand holds.
